The Hermitage, Dunkeld & Aberfeldy – Starting at The Hermitage, a variety of walks here, two personal favourites which can be combined are the low level short walk to Ossian’s Hall and the higher Pine Cone Viewpoint with brilliant views looking north over the A9.
Next heading into Dunkeld, voted as best place to live in Scotland, highlights are the cathedral, herds of Deer and scenic walks along River Tay.
Leaving Dunkeld the road climbs for 10 scenic miles up towards Loch Na Creige before dropping down into Aberfeldy.
Aberfeldy has a brilliant walk known as The Birks, great selection of shops/restaurants and the Dewars Distillery.
On the road from Aberfeldy to Cuil an Daraich two great stops can be had at St Mary’s Chapel and The Highland Chocolatier.
